Your Opportunity To Be Famous! (Really…)
Attention All Real Estate Investors…I am writing my next book tentatively titled: Your First Year As A Real Estate Investor: What To Look Out For, How To Get Started and How To Make Maximum Money, Right Now! And I would like YOU to write it with me!
I am looking for *REAL* Real Estate Investors to contribute their own stories of their very first deals, including pictures of the property, copies of checks, your numbers, the EMOTIONS you were feeling, and the outcome–positive or negative and especially what you learned from the process of getting that first deal under your belt.
The goal of the book is to help new Real Estate Investors to steer clear of the mistakes that we’ve already made, get their emotions under control, remove a little fear (by showing them that we’ve all felt that way, too) and to offer a little instruction and guidance.
I am going to ask a few of my well regarded (and Real Deal) Investor/Trainer friends to participate in this project, as well. Some of them will say, “No, thank you.” and that’s okay. However some will say, “Yes!” I want to help out some new Real Estate Investors with the story of MY first deal, too!”. Your story will be included along with some of these BIG names in the Training and Coaching industry and NOW is your chance to shine alongside of them! 
I invite you to send an email to jim@realestatelifestyle.com with the subject line “My 1st Year!”. Please include your name, your city and state, your telephone number and a brief synopsis of your story. I will personally be reaching out to EVERYONE that submits an inquiry about this project.
Some further information:
- You will NOT have to write and edit your story (unless you choose to). We will set up a mutually agreeable time for a telephone interview and we will record the call. I’ll interview you and we will discuss your story conversationally. Easy, right?
- You will need to provide details (proof) of the deal. It doesn’t matter if you still own the property or not. We just need to be able to verify some of the facts of your story. Maybe a closing statement, a picture of you in front of the property, a check you got back at closing.
- It doesn’t matter how long ago you did your first deal. I want stories from relative newbies as well as those of you who do this every day for a living.
- It doesn’t matter if you did well on the deal, or you got your ass handed to you. I’m interested in the emotional story as well, as it is rarely addressed in Real Estate Investing books.
- There is NO cash compensation for participating – HOWEVER you will have that great, warm, fuzzy feeling that comes from knowing that you’ve helped a new Investor out with your story. This book will mostly be GIVEN AWAY as a labor of love, at my personal expense. Of course you will get a copy of the finished product – signed by all of the contributing authors with name recognition. You will also have the opportunity to get extra books that you can use as collateral pieces with your friends, family and clients.
I am also planning a few surprises (that will help you build your Real Estate Empire) along the way that will be FREE to YOU!
